It has been described as ‘Old Hatfield little secret’; this is a lovely Indian restaurant that has been in this location for many years.

Always fresh and tasty, this is one of my favourites.

Try’ Take it Polish’ for great value, tasty and traditional Polish fair’. The restaurant is rated highly by locals and the local Polish population and has a great atmosphere.

Sibthorpe Arms

Located in the heart of Hatfield, this pub is family-friendly and has a great atmosphere. The food is delicious and reasonably priced; you can get a 3-course meal for under £20. It’s also good value for drinks, with some of their favourite cocktails costing only £4 or £5. The service is always excellent when I’ve visited here and I never have any problems at all!

Cock o’ the North is an excellent choice for food, drink and atmosphere. The bar has a relaxed atmosphere and offers a wide range of drinks, including cocktails, spirits and wines, and traditional British pub classics like fish and chips.

The menu includes crowd favourites such as burgers, ribs and steaks, delicious vegetarian options, and their famous cauliflower steak! Prices vary depending on what you order, but it’s not too expensive considering the quality of food served here. Cock o’ the North also provides entertainment in their upstairs function room which can be hired out privately or used by large groups during events such as birthdays/parties.

This welcoming local, who has been a member of the McMullen family since 1937, is still at the centre of the neighbourhood.

In keeping with tradition, this old-fashioned two-bar pub offers Sky Sports and darts in the main bar while serving eats. It treats in the cosy lounge, featuring McMullen local ales, international beers, hand-selected wines, and affordable pub fare that can be eaten outside or by the fire!
