StayZo Caravans

The HS2 tunnel will run under the Chiltern Hills – and our caravans are ideally placed if you are working on any location between the North and South Portal. The caravans are situated in a very quiet, beautiful rolling green English countryside. The area has an impressive selection of pubs and restaurants. All of our 11 caravans are able to sleep between 4-6 people but we strongly recommend a maximum of 2 people for a much comfortable stay.

NORTHAMPTONSHIRE

DoubleTree by Hilton Coventry

The hotel is off the M6, five miles from the city center, Ricoh Arena, and Coventry Cathedral. Relax with a swim, steam, or beauty treatment at the LivingWell spa, and enjoy a Starbucks coffee and afternoon tea. Every stay starts with a signature warm chocolate chip cookie. Birmingham and the NEC are a half-hour’s drive away.

Mercure Daventry Court Hotel and Spa

A stylish and modern 4-star hotel with excellent transport links to both the M1 and M6. Best ideal as it is located nearby to the HS2 sites in Northamptonshire. It offers 155 bedrooms with a selection of Doubles, Twins, and Privilege rooms. Accredited by Shield Safety Group – Mercure is Covid-19 secure and has extensive measures in place to protect both our guests and staff. Fitness Room is closed until further notice.

The Walnut House

Situated 12 miles from Banbury and 9 miles from Towcester and Daventry – the house offers a shared lounge and a garden. Guests benefit from complimentary Wi-Fi and private parking available on site. A continental breakfast is served every day. The bedrooms contain microwaves for easy cooking. There is also a television in the bedroom. Full kitchen facilities are available upon request. For relaxation – the property is ideally located for countryside walks or bicycle rides.

The Old Post Office

Exclusively available to StayZo guests, the Old Post Office is situated in the heart of Lower Boddington and minutes away from the route of the High Speed 2 railway. Available for long bookings (and Monday-Friday reservations), the property offers a large double room – easily convertible to 2 single beds whilst there is another single room available. All bedrooms have access to a private bathroom and toilet. There is the use of a full size and fully equipped kitchen.

Oak Lodge

Available for long bookings – Oak Lodge offers 2 large double rooms with a bathroom to share. Guests will have access to a small kitchen including a fridge and microwave. Also available is a large sitting room/lounge area with an open fire and Sky TV. There are two friendly large dogs.

The Pear Tree House

An attractive stone house in the village of Eydon, a beautiful and charming Northamptonshire village with a popular pub, not far from Banbury and Daventry, and within easy reach of Silverstone, Oxford, Stratford, Bicester. The property comes with private, off-street parking, a single bathroom, Queen size bed for single occupancy and a double bedroom with a super king size double bed that can be converted into twin beds. Use of family kitchen is allowed if required.

OXFORDSHIRE

Church Cottage

A traditional C17 Northamptonshire stone house offering two very comfortable double bedrooms and a shared “family” bathroom for guests’ exclusive use. The accommodation would suit a working “pod” of two people. There is ample secure off-road parking for two vehicles at least. Free Wifi, tea and coffee facilities are in each bedroom. A simple Continental breakfast will be available every day. Access to the kitchen for heating up evening meals can be arranged.

The Cow Shed

Best suited to HS2 contractors, the Cow Shed is just a few minutes away from the HS2 work compound. It’s a newly converted barn, very funky decor, very big space, underfloor heating, 50″ ambient TV, induction hob, cool color control lighting, cotton bedding, loads of outside space, great local pub 8 mins walk, easy access to M40.

The Pig Shed

Great for the new Thorpe Mandeville construction depot, the Pig Shed is just a few minutes away from the HS2 work compound. It’s a quirky studio in a countryside barn conversion, underfloor heating, induction hob, fridge freezer, memory foam mattress, cotton bedding. Great local pub just 8 mins walk away. It’s only 10 mins taxi to Banbury station with loads of outside space and country walks.

The Sheep Shed

Located at Thorpe Mandiville, Oxfordshire, the Sheep Shed is just a few minutes away from the HS2 work compound. It’s a newly converted quirky barn accommodation in the countryside. Lovely pub 8 mins walk away, loads of outdoor space, just a 10-minute taxi ride from Banbury train station.It has an underfloor heating, memory foam bed, cotton bedding, HD TV, and induction hob.

There are 9 apartments with two bedrooms which can accommodate 3 guests. All apartments come with a living area, bathrooms, and fully equipped kitchens. In addition, our apartments feature large living room, dining area, bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens. With their own entrance, our guests benefit from flexibility and comfort to “feel at home” while staying with us.

The Shed

The Shed is located in Coventry, 6.8 mi from FarGo Village and 6.8 mi from CoventryCathedral, in an area where hiking can be enjoyed. Located 5 mi from Ricoh Arena, the property features a garden and free private parking. This holiday home includes 1 bedroom, a living room and a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with a dining area, and 1 bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. We understand the financial pressures that arise in business and we provide financing solutions to help your business grow.

There is a perfect storm brewing for these businesses, particularly the smaller ones who may never have needed to acquire equipment on the scale that they need to for the HS2 project. At the moment the lending community is retracting from the market and their lending appetite are reduced. Combine that with the fact that many of these SME’s will be applying for funding using a set of accounts that covers a fiscal period unrepresentative of their ability to run a profitable business – badly affected by the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. This could mean that they’re ‘go-to’ high street banks will turn them away and in order to fulfill these HS2 contracts they will be forced to borrow from the wrong people at the wrong rates.
